6/18: Discover Portland with Michael Perry at The Lincoln Home

On Monday, June 18, from 3:00 to 4:00pm, Michael Perry, from Freeport, explores the beauty and history of Maine’s largest city with photos from one end of Congress Street to the other. Enjoy some fun facts and images from the Eastern Prom to the Western Prom; from Woodfords to Deering Oaks. We will attend a Sea Dogs baseball game, and visit some classic Portland businesses like B&M, Oakhurst, and Hood Dairy. Michael talks about Portland’s famous: poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, movie director John Ford and Maine Governor, Baxter State Park creator, Percival Baxter. Enjoy the inspiring photos mixed with Michael’s warmth and humor, fascinating history, local lore and zany trivia.
