All aboard the Candy Cane Train!

Wed, 12/09/2015 - 8:30am

Tri-County Literacy is hosting the 10th annual Candy Cane Train on Saturday, Dec. 12 and Sunday, Dec. 13.

The scenic ride leaves from the Bath Train Station, heads to Wiscasset and returns. There are four round trips both days at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Bring the whole family on board for this enjoyable 90-minute scenic ride with Santa, his elves, cookies, Christmas songs, and storytelling.

Create lasting family memories and a new family tradition as the children meet Santa and his elves! Sing songs with the Nor’Easters Barbershop Chorus, listen to a holiday story, and enjoy a cookie, all in a comfortable train.

Inside the Bath train station, your family can visit with Mrs. Claus, write letters to Santa, view model train displays, and enjoy hot chocolate. And we’ll have special souvenirs for sale to commemorate this holiday event.
It’s a magical experience your family will treasure!

Tickets cost $18 per person (children under the age of two years ride free on the lap of an adult). They can be purchased at www.candycanetrain.org or by calling 207-443-6384.
