Boothbay advances to Class C South finals

The top-seeded Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team advanced to the Class C South final with a 5-0 shutout of the fourth-seeded Hall-Dale Bulldogs in a semifinal match Saturday morning, June 3.
The Seahawks won a close battle at first doubles and first and second singles went to three sets.
Boothbay, now 11-1, will face second-seeded Waynflete in the final. The Flyers defeated St. Dominic, 4-1, in the other semifinal. The final is scheduled for Thursday, June 8 at 12:45 p.m. at Bates College.
