Spring has finally arrived in Maine, and with it, golf season is here. The Boothbay Harbor Country Club in Boothbay will open for the season on Thursday, May 14.

Originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1921, the Boothbay Harbor Country Club has undergone a renaissance over the past year and emerged as one of Maine’s premier golfing destinations for local residents and visitors alike. Combining the amenities of a private club with the accessibility of public links, BHCC welcomes golfers of all abilities to test their skills on the brand new 18-hole championship course, completely redesigned in 2014 by Bruce Hepner as part of a multi-million dollar renovation by new owner, businessman and philanthropist Paul Coulombe.

BHCC lunch and dinner service will also open for the season on May 14, with Chef Jeremy Donovan introducing many new items on the club’s spring menu featuring the freshest most responsibly raised meats and produce. New dishes available on the spring menu include Scotch Eggs, Oysters Rockafeller, Sweet Pea Ravioli, Bo SSAM, the BHCC Club Sandwich, Salmon a la Plancha, and Rabbit Shepherd’s Pie. Lunch is available daily; dinner will be served Tuesday through Saturday nights. Brunch, featuring a Bloody Mary and mimosa bar, is offered Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tee times and dining reservations may be made via www.boothbayharborcc.com. Membership information, a narrated hole-by-hole flyover video of the course, and information on lessons from the club’s PGA professionals are also available online.
