Boothbay Harbor nominations filed

Boothbay Harbor Town Clerk Michelle Farnham reported nomination papers for all open town government positions were filed by March 21. All candidates are running unopposed.

Incumbent Wendy Wolf, chair of the board of selectmen, is running for a three-year term as selectman, assessor and overseer of the poor. Incumbent Steven Lorrain Sr. is running for a three-year term on the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Community School District Board of Trustees. Incumbent Stephanie Hawke is running for a three-year term on the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Community School District School Committee. Isabelle Lewis is running for a vacant, three-year term on the Cemetery District Board of Trustees. Nell Tharpe is running for a vacant, three-year term at-large position on the Boothbay Region Water District Board of Trustees. Sam  Morris is running for a vacant, two-year term on the Boothbay Harbor Sewer District Board of Trustees. James Stormont is running for a vacant, three-year term on the Boothbay Harbor Sewer District Board of Trustees. 

The Boothbay Harbor Sewer District elections will appear on a second ballot, said Farnham. 

Residents will vote Friday, May 4  and will assemble on Saturday, May 5 for the annual town meeting.
