Boothbay Harbor Republicans will caucus with other Lincoln County towns on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Great Salt Bay School in Damariscotta from noon to 4 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Lincoln County Republican Committee.

The caucus is an opportunity to gather with fellow Republicans, to meet with local and statewide candidates, discuss topics of interest and challenges at the local, state and national level, sign nomination papers and elect representatives to the Lincoln County Committee. Delegates to the 2018 State Convention will be selected. It will also provide an opportunity to enroll in the Republican party.

There will be a straw poll of the declared candidates in the race for Maine governor. This is a non-binding poll that will give an early indication of the level of support for the candidates.

Light refreshments will be served.
