Dear Editor:

This past week I called 911. I thank our EMS system. Everybody is great! They are respectful, kind, caring. Response was immediate. Directions on next steps clear. A police officer responded within minutes and the ambulance followed shortly. I was distracted and not watching time, but I guess that I was in good hands within 7 minutes of my call.

All of us living on the Boothbay peninsula should be thankful for and proud of our EMS response system. Thank you all!
