On Monday, June 5 at 9 a.m., the Weeding Team will be working at the Boothbay Memorial Park. With all the rain we've been having the weeds are happily proliferating. Extra hands are always welcome!

On Tuesday, June 6 at 11 a.m., Garden Therapy will be held at St. Andrews Village.

Looking ahead: On Wednesday, June 14 at 11 a.m., Newagen Seaside Inn will host the BRGC annual meeting and luncheon. Program will include special guest author, Marta McDowell who will talk about Beatrix Potter and her love of gardening and horticulture, a theme that runs throughout Potter's "little books." Among other titles, McDowell is well known for her book, "Beatrix Potter's Gardening Life."

A reminder that the Garden Club Federation of Maine Convention will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, June 20 and 21 in Freeport.
