Boothbay Region Lions Club met Jan. 24 with 22 members. The kitchen crew once again provided a delicious, hot meal complete with dessert.  Patty Seybold, board president of the new Health Center, was our guest speaker. Patty explained how the new center works as well as hours of operation and payment system. Transportation will be needed for some seeking healthcare and Patty thought this might be right up our alley as Lions are always willing to serve.

Finances have taken a hit lately with our snow birds away, the holiday season and repairs within the clubhouse. The board of directors suggested an increase in some items and club members  voted unanimously to accept these changes. Please read your newsletter and emails to stay informed!

Lion Celeste won the 50/50 – but – you need to be present to attend so it went back into the pot. Lion Don won the cheer raffle this time around. Kitchen crew for next time are Lions, Duane, April, Pete and Tom T. See you on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Why not bring your Valentine and celebrate at our club?
