Boothbay Region High School will be hosting an all-school Community Career Day at the end of February. In conjunction with the BRHS’s Trade Initiative, we have teamed up with the Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund and the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce, to present to the students a Career Day, highlighting careers that exist right here on the peninsula, along with some of the exciting choices that exist outside the region.

The day will start with a special guest speaker before the students break out into multiple sessions with different career themes, including, but not limited to: marine science, hospitality, health and wellness, medical professions, and services and trades.

The objective is to help expose students to potential career choices that exist and to show them some of the unique opportunities that await them after high school.

That’s where you come in: are you interested in sharing your career with the students? If you would like to participate in one or more of the smaller sessions during the day, we welcome you to please join us. Please contact Chris Baribeau at BRHS by Feb. 2 via email: cbaribeau@csd3-brhs.org.
