River Arts in Damariscotta is inviting artists throughout Maine to submit artwork for jurying in its upcoming exhibition, “Small Works.” Artists can submit up to three works in any medium including sculpture, photography, collage, painting, ceramics and fine craft – representational or abstract. Work can be delivered anytime during gallery hours from now until the deadline, Nov. 12 at 4 p.m. There will be an opening reception on November 18 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Juror for “Small Works" is Robyn Holman, curator of the highly-esteemed Atrium Gallery at University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn campus. Ms. Holman directs a creative and varied series of year-round exhibitions featuring works by Maine artists.

Artists may submit up to three works for an entry fee of $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Artists will be notified by email or phone of the juror’s decision. Submissions may not have been shown at River Arts previously. Entry forms are available online at www.riverartsme.org and at the gallery when submitting. All work entered must be for sale. Work submitted should be smaller than 20". Miniatures are also encouraged.
