"What's Nude in Boothbay Harbor?:  A Celebration of the Human Form," a show of paintings, paper work, sculpture and photography will open at Studio 53, located at 53 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor, on Friday, Feb. 10. The Valentine’s Day weekend show will run through Sunday, Feb. 12.  An opening reception will be held Friday, Feb. 10 from 5-8 p.m.

"What's Nude in Boothbay Harbor?" offers something unique and fun to break up the long winter months and help celebrate Valentine's Day!  Plan to stay in Boothbay for the weekend at one of the local B&B's, dine in one of the Region's new "foodie" restaurants, shop, or simply take in all the magic and beauty the Boothbay Harbor Region has to offer.

Exhibiting nudity can be challenging in a traditional and conservative New England, but this third exhibition of  "What's Nude" will endeavor to once again present through a variety of interpretations, the beauty and shape of the human form through paintings, paper work, sculpture and photography.

Artists are invited to submit two pieces of work to the show. Submission deadline: Wednesday,  Jan. 25.

A submission form may be obtained by emailing patricia@boothbayharbor.com or calling the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce at 633-2353.

"What's Nude in Boothbay Harbor" is sponsored by the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and Studio 53.
