The Wiscasset, Waterville, & Farmington Railway Museum at 97 Cross Road in Alna celebrates summer Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 12 and 13, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with steam train rides, model T rail car rides, hand car rides, antique machinery, a yard sale, music, food and fun!

Model T rail car rides will follow behind the regular scheduled steam trains. Hand car rides in Sheepscot yard.

Music will be provided midday both days. Picnic food will be on sale both days from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shop our yard sale both days. Yard sale proceeds benefit the WW&F Railway Museum archives.

Trains will depart Sheepscot Station from 10.30 a.m. to late afternoon Saturday and 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Regular train fares apply. Tour our Museum grounds and see restoration projects underway in our shops. Try your hand at operating a hand car in our yard. Visit our gift shop and learn more about the Maine two-footers!
