A free Community Christmas Dinner will be held Friday, Dec. 25 from noon to 2 p.m. at the American Legion Hall on Industrial Drive in Boothbay. Reservations are required by Saturday, Dec. 19; call 633-7195 and leave your name, number of participants and contact information.

If any person needs a ride to the American Legion in Boothbay on Christmas Day, please call Eve at 350-8646 or 633-2194.

For several years, Tom and Elaine Fogarty from Our Lady Queen of Peace spearheaded this traditional event but because of Tom's health, they are not able to do it this year.

So, don't be alone for Christmas ... come join in the celebration and enjoy a nice dinner.
