The Lincoln County Republican Committee (LCRC) will hold their regular monthly meeting at the Newcastle Community Center, 86 River Road, on Wednesday, Feb 28. There will be light refreshments and social at 6:30 p.m. followed by the business meeting and program speaker at 7.

Shawn Moody of Gorham and candidate for governor will be the featured program speaker. A successful businessman, Moody is best known as founder of Moody’s Collision Center, with 11 locations in the state. He was appointed to the board of the University of Maine System as well as the Maine Community College System by Governor Paul LePage. Moody is running for governor to ensure Maine continues to be successful and that every Mainer achieves his or her full potential.
