Cultural immersion learning ... fly to Europe!

Tue, 04/24/2018 - 7:30am

As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, it is critical for our students to become more culturally aware, explore new ideas, and grow their potential. We believe that when students are able to see new cultures come to life outside of the classroom, they develop a new and valuable perspective of the world.

Where in the world will this immersion learning be gained? Says Mary Miller, “Multiple ‘surprise’ cities.”

Amsterdam? Munich? Vienna? Pompeii? Barcelona? Budapest? Reykjavik? Athens?

Intrigued? Of course you are! Ready to start packing? Of course you are!  You might want to wait on that, but both Mary and Manon can understand your excitement - they are too!

That being the case, Boothbay Region High School students, parents and community members - pack up your excitement and bring it with you to the BRHS auditorium at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 - yes, that’s this week - for the informational meeting with Mary Miller and Manon Lewis.  More details about this “surprise cities” opportunity will be revealed and questions answered.

There’s just one catch: you must RSVP to confirm your attendance. To RSVP: send an email to either mlewis@csd3-brhs.org or mmiller@csd3-brhs.org.

Space is limited on the trip and enrollment will begin at the end of the meeting.  Mary and Manon hope that you and your child(ren) will be able to attend the upcoming meeting to learn more about this incredible experience!
