Studio 53 Fine Art’s special holiday event, “Fall Into Winter,” is up and running through Dec. 31.

Over 15 artists are represented on the three floors of the gallery at 53 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor.

The two and three dimensional art is by members of the Studio 53 Collective: Terry Seaman, Heidi Seidelhuber, Tony van Hasselt, Bob McKay, Nancy Wilkoff, Don Josephson, John M.T. Seitzer, Greg Laderer and Lynne Seitzer; with paintings by Belfast artist David Estey, the late (great) Robert Hamilton, Priscilla May Alden, Kim Villard, Leslie Muir Volpe, Donna Denniston, David Dupree, Gerda Anderson and Paula Ragsdale.

The Sculpture Garden on the water features the stone work of Dick Alden and the late Don Meserve. Alden was recently written up in the Architecture issue of Maine magazine as one of five artists to watch - the article included pictures of “The Seeker” currently at Studio 53.

Kim Villard of Villard Studios will demonstrate the white line woodcut technique Dec. 15-18. Studio 53’s December hours are 1-5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with the addition of Thursday the 15th and Sunday the 18th. The gallery is also open by appointment.
