The 42nd annual Fishermen's Festival guide had already been printed before the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor called the newspaper on Tuesday afternoon to inform us that the church's annual festival supper was not going to be held on Saturday, April 25. The church is doing some remodeling at this time.

The lobster eating contest, originally scheduled for Saturday morning, was pulled from the festival schedule of events before it went to press. Due to the high prices for lobster, the festival committee canceled the event.
