The Southport Rug Hookers are having an exhibition of fiber arts to benefit the Boothbay Region Community Resource Council during Windjammer Days on Thursday, June 29. The exhibit will be held in the Community Room of the Boothbay YMCA from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Recommended donation will be $5.

There are a large number of talented fiber artists, whether quilters, weavers, hookers, or any other fiber art, here on the peninsula and it is the time to share this talent with the community and its visitors.

Pieces to be displayed are to be brought to the YMCA on Wednesday, June 21 so that spacing and display may be planned. The time is 9:30 to 11 a.m.
