The food trucks of the Good Shepherd Food Bank will visit the Boothbay region on Wednesday, Feb. 14 and on Wednesday, March 14. They will be located in the lower parking lot of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor. Food will be distributed from the food mobile to anyone who goes to the church parking lot from noon to 1 p.m. on those dates. Please bring your own bags and boxes. Everyone is welcome.

The following announcements are for current clients of the Boothbay Region Food Pantry and for peninsula residents who wish to become clients:

1. The food pantry is open from noon to 2 p.m. every Friday of the year except Christmas Day. An evening pantry is held from 5-6 p.m. on the second Monday of each month for those unable to attend on Fridays. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. The pantry is located on the ground floor of the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, with access from the church’s lower parking lot.

1. Clients are welcome to go to the pantry any Friday to pick up perishables remaining on the tables after all scheduled families have been served.
2. The pantry is now receiving regular donations of infant diapers, sizes 1-6. Similac and Enfamil baby formula may also be available.
3. The food pantry will be closed in case of inclement weather if local schools are closed.
