Footbridge ‘Quick Draw’ event is a hit at Harbor Fest

Visiting and local artists participated in the first A Stroke of Art event on Sept. 8, a ‘quick draw’ (noon to 2 p.m.) around the footbridge in Boothbay Harbor.
Some of the artists stopped to talk about why they chose the particular location around the footbridge to paint and about the event itself.
All of the artists planned to be part of the Oil Painters of America’s “Great Paint Out” on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Grimes Cove, Ocean Point, in East Boothbay.
