Fundraiser for Freedom 4/24 next weekend

Please come to support the Boothbay Region Drama Club Saturday, May 19 as they join with the Independent Senior Seminar class, a senior project, to fundraise for Freedom 4/24.

Freedom 4/24 is an organization which helps fight against human trafficking, and to bringing freedom and justice to victims and survivors of sexual exploitation and human trafficking. For more information, visit www.freedom424.org.

The afternoon begins at 2 p.m. at Boothbay Region High School, 236 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor, and will include the one act play, “The Brother’s Grimm Spectaculathon” and a mini Broadway cabaret. A spaghetti dinner will follow the show.

A raffle will also be held to benefit Freedom 4/24 and prizes include: a crock pot donated by Ames Supply; a crab tool by Jansons; $25 gift cards from Sherman’s Books and Cahill Tire; a drone kit from Harbor Tech Solutions; an oil change and tire rotation from Freedom Auto Care; two car washes at Wiscasset Detail Express; two tickets to the Carousel Music Theater, a Vera Bradley tote set from House of Logan ... and much more!

Tickets for the show and dinner are $10/adults and $8/students - children under four are free! Tickets for the dinner only are $5/adults and students.

The dinner is sponsored by three girls in the senior seminar class (who are all three in the performance):  Brooke Harmon, Sierra Murray, and Kayla Lewis. 

The one act play and the cabaret will also be presented on Thursday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m.
