Gail (Brackett) Allen, 75, of Conover, North Carolina, formerly of Boothbay Harbor, died June 23, 2017.

She was born April 10, 1942 and graduated from Boothbay Region High School and the University of Maine where she earned a master's degree. She taught school in Bath for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Clifford Allen, of Conover, North Carolina and stepson, Christopher P. Allen, of St. Petersburg, Florida.
