Dear Editor:

What an emotional moment for our 2017 graduates, their families, friends, schoolmates, and faculty when the tassels went from right to left! Not too many dry eyes?

After the class marched out of the gym and we started to leave along with our guests, Nancy Prisk and Nick Hurd, there standing in front of us, en mass, was the Botanical Gardens Horticultural team in their work clothes, but no gloves hanging out of their pockets, holding two lovely bouquets of flowers. One for Elisabeth and the other for Grammy Dee. Though this was another not-so-dry-eye event, we can not thank the team enough for being a big part of “E’s” monumental day. Where else but for our caring community would you find such unconditional support. We are so blessed.
