Giving thanks to The Thistle Inn

Thanksgiving Day dining at Thistle Inn was a day dedicated to the new Addiction Outreach Specialist Program of Boothbay Region Community Resources Council. The new restaurant owners, kitchen staff and volunteers presented a traditional Thanksgiving dinner buffet while asking diners to make a donation only to the new Addiction Program that launched in October on the Boothbay peninsula.

Owners Dick Reid and Anya Heyl barely got their feet planted in their new establishment and offered to open their restaurant doors on Thanksgiving Day for a tremendous meal and for the express desire to support a very valuable outreach in our community.

Boothbay Region Community Resources Council extends their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support from the diners on Thanksgiving Day. To Anya and Dick, we wish you an amazing career at The Thistle Inn. Thank you for opening your hearts and your doors on behalf of support to neighbors in need of help with addiction.
