Goobies helping with fundraiser

Goobies of Boothbay Harbor is trying to raise money to help save Kenniston Hill Inn from being torn down.

The gallery, which is known for its unusual silver jewelry, commissioned metalsmith Steven Edward to make a commemorative pendant and bracelet topper honoring the 250th anniversary of the town of Boothbay and will be donating $10 of each purchase to help pay for the cost of moving the historic structure to a new home at the Railway Museum.

Because East Boothbay and Ocean Point are also a part of Boothbay, the gallery will also be donating the $10 of each purchase from those pendants and toppers, too. The sterling silver pendants and toppers will be selling for $50 each.

For more information, Goobies can be reached at 207-633-7001. The little gallery is located at 8 McKown Street, across from the library lawn and next to Harbor Realty.
