This Sunday, Dec. 6, during the 10 a.m. worship service at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, the church will be "greened" with the symbols of Advent and Christmas, symbols such as candles, wreaths, poinsettia, the creche, and the Christmas tree. Each will be presented, explained, and blessed. Traditional scripture and music of the season will be woven into the worship experience.

Renovation work on the church facility is nearly complete but the elevator has not yet been inspected for use. The best path for accessibility purposes remains the front door of the sanctuary on Townsend Avenue. Everyone is welcome.
