It was a fun and tuneful night ...

More than 200 people came in from the cold for the Hometown Hootenanny April 14 at the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor for the three-hour country music and community celebration. Just over $3,000 was raised during this annual fundraiser to support the non-profit Opera House - with musicians donating their time and a country fair prize-winning set of pies raffled off during the night, and even cowboy hat topped cupcakes for sale.

The evening was organized by Garry Blackman and featured Dick Spofford, Bill Hallinan, Tim Sprague, Sally Carroll, Ronny Arsenault, Bob Blackman, Elizabeth Derecktor, Gerry Gamage, and a dozen other Maine musicians.
