Laura Mae Ezzell Travis, 23, died unexpectedly on Nov. 22, 2014.

She was born in Damariscotta on Dec. 5, 1990, the daughter of Audra Ezzell and Doug Brown and Mark Ezzell. 

Laura attended school at Wiscasset High School and Old Town High School.  She worked and cared for others as a CNA. She married her high school sweetheart, Whitney Travis, and they were blessed with a handsome little boy, Brycen Arthur Travis. 

Her family called her “the most amazing woman I’ve ever had the pleasure to know.”

“I’m even more proud to say she’s my daughter,” her family continued. “She is so beautiful and strong and would do anything for anyone.”

Her whole world was her family and making them happy and keeping them safe.  She adored her son Brycen and her husband.

She is survived by her parents, Audra Ezzell, Douglas Brown and Mark Ezzell; siblings Kayla Lilly and Amber Ezzell; her husband Whitney Travis and their son Brycen Arthur Travis; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

There are no public visiting hours scheduled. The funeral services will be held at Staples Funeral Parlor in Gardiner, on Friday, Nov. 28 at 10 a.m.
