Maine Media Women offer ‘Free Expression Art’ workshop April 9

Mon, 03/28/2016 - 10:45am

You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy the “Free Expression Art” workshop being offered by Maine Media Women on Saturday, April 9. This hands-on workshop will be presented by Brady Nickerson, who is known for her Process Art Workshops for all ages. In Free Expression Art, the focus in on the process rather than the results. It invites deeper creativity and imagination to flow by letting intuition be your guide.

This fun and freeing art experience will be held at The Studio on the Bristol Road (Route 130)—on the left about one mile south of the Route 130/Business Route 1 traffic light in downtown Damariscotta. Painting will be done with lots of colors on large sheets of paper, and things could get messy so attendees are advised to dress accordingly. The workshop will run from 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. on April 9th and pre-registration is required. A $10 fee will be collected at the door. To sign up, please call Salt Bay Art Supply at 563-8377 or e-mail sbart@tidewater.net by Wednesday, April 6. (If the workshop is cancelled due to bad weather, an email will be sent to those who have registered.)
