McSeagull’s manager Alyssa Allen and co-worker Jeff Stoddard presented checks to local charities on Dec. 16 at the Boothbay Region Elementary School.

A total of $5,790 was raised from the 6th annual Thanksgiving fundraiser dinner at McSeagull’s, some from diners’ donations and some from donors.

Aside from monetary donations, some pitched in with donations of food.

Some of the donors were: Northcenter Food Service, Central Distributors, Federal Distributors, Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor, Shipyard Brewing, Geary’s Brewing Co., Allagash Brewing Co., Sebago Brewing Co., Sam Adams (Boston Beer Co.), M.S. Walker, Brown’s Wharf Inn, Margaret Branch and Patricia Wheeler.

Allen stressed that the staff, management and owners of McSeagull’s are grateful for all their donors and the volunteers and staff who donated time over the Thanksgiving holiday.

“Many of these volunteers have helped year after year and that dedication of time, energy, and effort does not go unnoticed,” she said in a release. “Thank you to Bob and Kitty Boyd, Rusty Court, Steve and Susan Tuscher, Charles Asbury, John Jenkins, Dan and Sylvia Campbell, Sean McDonough, Chris and Allison Buchannan, Jen Sherman, Ali Hartley, Ben and Gigi Teel, Alyssa, Colby, and Linda Allen, Teddy Nelson and Jeff Stoddard This day could not have happened without you!”
