Member Art Show at the Chocolate Church

The Chocolate Church Arts Center (CCAC) will debut the 2016 Membership Art Show on Friday, Feb. 26, with a reception from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Guests can meet artists during the reception, free and open to the public

The art gallery is upstairs in the annex building located on 804 Washington Street in Bath.

“This show is a highlight of our gallery year while we anxiously wait to see what artwork is entered,” said Jennifer Wilkey, CCAC board member and curator of this exhibit. “Guests will view a diverse collection of mixed media of pastel, oil, acrylic painting, photography and sculpture and textile.”

This annual exhibit highlights the creative work of local artists such as Sandra Johnson, Robert Copeland, Peggy Kapisovsky, Felicity Sidewell, Melanie Willey, Debra Ater, Jessica Arsenault, Amy Puleo, Rick Christenson, Robert S. Howe, Cory Gardiner, Wayne Robbins, Kathy Harris.

Immediately following the reception, the CCAC's theater production, “Visiting Mr. Green” opens downstairs in the Curtis Room at 7 p.m.

The CCAC Membership Arts Show will be on display until April 1. Gallery hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 4 p.m.; Thursday noon to 6 p.m. and alternating Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m.
