Dear Editor:

My name is Jackie McLoon and I am a senior at Boothbay Region High School. Being 18 years old, I will be able to vote in the upcoming election for Boothbay selectmen. This election is very important to me as it may determine the future of my hometown. I feel it is important to have Dale Harmon and Steve Lewis reelected so they can help our town move forward and improve certain aspects.

I am friends with Kayla Lewis, daughter of Steve, and Brooke and Brady Harmon, daughter and son of Dale. Together we are all apart of our school's drama department. Dale and Steve care about this town and its citizens and would love to help the town of Boothbay make some changes to help target a younger community.

I will be going to Florida in the fall to attend cosmetology school and would love to come back some day. Small towns are great places to raise a family but we need to keep the town moving forward to help future families want to live here.

I plan to vote for Dale Harmon and Steve Lewis to insure that my home may still be around by the time I have children and grandchildren.

If you care about our town and would like to see some positive changes being made, come vote on May 7th at the Boothbay town office for Dale Harmon and Steve Lewis.
