News and Notes from The Community Center
We had a magical thing happen last week at the Community Center. Stella and Jay dropped in for a visit. They are on the adventure of a lifetime -- on their Ural motorcycle with sidecar, they are traveling the country documenting the stories of people in small towns across the United States. They are posting short videos on YouTube and, ultimately, will produce a full-length documentary film. They began the journey in Plymouth, Massachusetts because that is where the Mayflower landed, and they intend to travel north and then west across the country. According to their website, www.onrway.net, they will “venture out to explore the country and share … stories of hope and inspiration.” Jay is the cameraman and Stella is the interviewer and as a team they work the story seamlessly and with great love and enthusiasm. It was a pleasure to have them with us for two days and we look forward to the film they produce. In addition to YouTube, they can be found on Facebook at On R Way Productions. They found our work at The Community Center to be interesting and fun. We hope you will also and that you will drop in for a cup of coffee this summer.
