Pancake Paddle-In to the Burnt Island Lighthouse

Tue, 07/11/2017 - 8:30am

Launch your personal watercraft and paddle-in to the Burnt Island Lighthouse to enjoy a pancake breakfast and a tour of the lighthouse. The event being sponsored by the “Keepers of Burnt Island Light” is to raise money for the restoration of Maine’s oldest “original” lighthouse in time for its Bicentennial in 2021. Your paddle time to Burnt Island will be approximately 30-45 minutes. Along the way, you may encounter seals, harbor porpoise and nesting eagles on the far corner of Mouse Island. Come enjoy a quiet morning paddle across the calm waters of Boothbay Harbor with nature all around you – it doesn’t get any better than that!
