Rosemary Campbell of Newcastle, a highly regarded 27-year insurance veteran, retired recently from a loyal career with Cheney Insurance of Damariscotta. She joined the agency in 1990, and over the years advanced through several important roles carrying increasing levels of responsibility. She served as personal insurance agent, team leader, division manager, and as senior advisor during the past few years.

Campbell was awarded the prestigious SafeCo Insurance Award of Excellence two years in a row for her knowledge and expertise, a well deserved accolade. She is well known as an experienced "no-nonsense" insurance professional throughout the industry here in Maine, and among the insurance company personal that she worked with daily. She has been an active participant in industry affairs, and has spoken to over a dozen classes at Lincoln Academy, an unenviable task that she always enjoyed. Rosemary has a wonderful way of connecting with clients, and many have expressed their well wishes to Rosemary upon her retirement.

The entire Cheney Financial Group family helped kick off the retirement celebrations during their annual Spring Kick Off Breakfast in late May. Dennis Hilton, president of the organization, extolled Rosemary's contributions and commitment to outstanding customer service and her loyalty, noting her role in helping to lead Cheney Insurance through the ever-changing maze of the insurance industry.
