The Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club is providing free loaner bicycles again this summer. There are still over 70 loaner bikes available. You can register and pick up your loaner bike at the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club House at 66 Montgomery Road (first left off of 96 heading east from the Hannafords’ intersection) between 10 a.m. and noon every Saturday through July 7. All you need is a $100 refundable deposit, a form of ID, and to provide your contact information. The current fleet of loaner bikes is made up of all aluminum, sturdy, easy-to-maintain bikes from US-based Priority Bicycles.

For those who prefer to purchase a used bike, the Rotary Club has a number of used bikes in good working order. These are available to buy for $30. You can see and buy these used bikes at the same time: between 10 and noon every Saturday through July 7.
