It's time to prepare for the 14th Annual Festival of Art for Senior College at Belfast. All Maine artists, aged 50 and over, amateur or professional, can submit artwork for the show running June 9-12. The 2016 Festival of Art will be held at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center in Belfast.

All types of visual art are welcome: paintings, sculptures, woodcarvings, jewelry, fabric arts, pottery, glass, and photography are just a few examples.

Artists will have an opportunity to sell their work if they wish.

The registration period for artists is March 1-31. Registration form and information may be requested at seniorcollegefestivalofart@gmail.com, or leave a message at 207-338-8033 and someone will get back to you.

All art work must be delivered to the Hutchinson Center on Wednesday, June 8.

This year’s featured guest artist presenter is John Whalley. His presentation will be on Saturday, June 11 at 1 p.m. at the Hutchinson Center.
