Three members of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office were honored at the May 2 County Commissioners’ meeting:

Deputy First Class Brian Collamore, and Sergeant Alan Shea saved a runner’s life last year at the “Run with the Alewives” 5K run, part of the Damariscotta Mills Fish Ladder Festival. The runner had a heart attack, and Collamore and Shea used the defibrillator they keep in their cruiser to save the man’s life.

Deputy Clayton Jordan was named the 2016 Deputy Sheriff of the Year, an honor Sheriff Todd Brackett and other supervisors agree upon. Jordan works in the transportation division. He brings inmates to and from Two Bridges Regional Jail.
