Condé Nast Traveler recently announced the results of its 30th annual Readers’ Choice Awards and Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine earned recognition as one of the Top 30 Resorts in New England with a score of 92.91. The announcement comes just as the resort finishes one of its best seasons ever and on the heels of being named “Best Hotel in Maine” by readers of Down East Magazine.

Both the Down East and Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award honors were bestowed for the second year in a row.

“The recognition that these renowned travel publications – and their readers – have brought to Spruce Point Inn is awesome and we thank everyone who voted for us based on their stays and visits to the resort,” said Angelo Digiulian, innkeeper with Joe Paolillo of the Inn. “The awards are inspiring both as a measure of our success but, more importantly, in terms of how we look forward to helping more guests create ‘oceanside memories made in Maine.’”

Over 300,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, voting on a record-breaking 7,320 hotels and resorts, 610 cities, 225 islands, 468 cruise ships, 158 airlines, and 195 airports.

“The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as ‘the best of the best of travel,’” the editors noted in announcing the winners. “Under Editor in Chief Pilar Guzmán, the Readers’ Choice Awards have become more selective and specific to the passions that inspire today’s travelers.”

The Readers’ Choice Awards are announced in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler, on newsstands nationwide on Oct. 24, 2017. The full list is published exclusively online, at www.CNTraveler.com/rca.
