Award-winning and acclaimed photographer Steve Demeranville is the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library’s September Artist of the Month, Sept. 1-28.

His photography exhibit is located in the library’s upstairs multi-purpose room.

Demeranville, of East Boothbay, is a member of the Boothbay Region Art Foundation. An avid international traveler, Demeranville combines his adventure travel addiction with a love of photography and graphic art.

He has been published nine times with National Geographic, including the March 2014 National Geographic Magazine which reflected his first place award in an assignment called “Spontaneous Adventure.”

Demeranville’s photography has also been seen on the big screens of Times Square, New York City, promoting the Maine region and in National Geographic’s “Getting Your Shot” book for stunning photos published in May 2015.
