In the morning buses will drop students off in back of the Boothbay Region Elementary School. This area will be for bus drop-offs only.

Parents who choose to drive their children to school should drop students off at the stop sign and NOT enter the circle to the front of the school. Children will then proceed into the building, up the stairs and outside to the playground area. If you have questions, please call Principal Mark Tess at 633-5097.

Don Strout bus – morning run

6:40 a.m. - Depart Edgecomb Eddy, turning right onto Rte. 27.

6:50 a.m. - Turn onto Mill Road, picking up students at Cunningham Rd., taking left onto Route 27 north.

7 a.m. - Pass school entrance.

7:04 a.m. - Cross Route 1 to enter Cochran Rd. Turn around behind Cahill’s. Turn right onto Route 1.

7:11am turn left onto Eddy Road, stopping for pickup at Shore Rd.

7:13am turn right onto Cross Point Rd.

7:20am turn around at Quarry Farm Rd.

7:25am turn left onto Eddy Road, then right onto Route 1 north.

7:27am Turn into Davis Island Apartments for pickup. Return to school.

7:30am Arrival at Edgecomb Eddy.

2:45pm Leave school, taking left onto Route 27 North.

2:50pm turn right onto Route 1 North, turning left onto Cochran Road. Turn around at Cahill’s.

Southport Bus driven by Matt Thibault

Trip 1--6:50 a.m.--Leaving Southport School to pick up Grades 7-12 students only. From school to Cross Road to Route 238 north across Thompson's Bridge to Route 27 south (no stop at the Southport School). Newagen, north on Route 238 to Boothbay schools.

Trip 2—7:40 a.m.--Cross Road to Southport School, south on Route 27, reaching Newagen at 7:40 a.m., north on Route 238 encircling the island and arriving at the school by 8 a.m.

Across Howard St. to West St. at 7:08 – back up Townsend Ave. at 7:10 Right on Union St. at 7:12 – up School St. at 7:14 – across Eastern Ave. to Montgomery Rd. at 7:16 – Rt. 96 to Eastern Ave. to Kenney Field Dr. at 7:18. On Atlantic Ave. at 7:20. Turn at Roads End at 7:22 – Lobster Cove Rd. at7:24. Barrows Rd. at7:26 – up Park St. at 7:28 – across Summit Rd. at 7:30 – down Bay St. at 7:32 – back up Atlantic Ave. at 7:34 – left on Union St. at 7:36 – up Pear St. to Townsend Ave. at 7:38 – at school by 7:40.

Bus 2 - driven by Steve Francis—Pleasant Cove turn 7:05 a.m., left on Back Narrows Rd., right on Rt. 96 7:15. Left on Eastern Ave., right on Rt. 27 7:25, back to school.

Bus 3 - driven by Martha Snow--Adams Pond Rd. 6:55 a.m., right on Rt. 27, turn at E. Wood 7:10. Right on Dover Rd. 7:15 to Dover Cross Rd., left on Back River Rd. 7:25, back to school.

Bus 4 - driven by Peter Greenleaf—Butler Rd. 6:50 a.m., right on Pension Ridge Rd., turn at Back Narrows Rd. 6:57. Left on Hardwick Rd, right on Route 27, right on River Rd. 7:10. Turn at Moose Ridge Crossing, left on Pension Ridge Rd., right on Hardwick Rd., 7:25. Left on Rt. 27 7:28 a.m. and back to school.

Bus 6--driven by Lyndon Roberts—Trevett Store 6:50 a.m., right on Eastside Rd., left on Westside Rd., turn at Blake’s, left on Sawyer’s Island 7:05, Samoset Rd., right on Lakeside Rd. to McKown Point, 7:15 turn at Blake’s Boat Yard, left on Barter Island Rd., left on Corey Lane 7:30 and back to school.

Bus 12 - driven by Mike Drummond/Mark Johnson—Grimes Cove turn 6:55 a.m., left on Rt. 96, left on Murray Hill Rd., turn at Hodgdon Yachts 7:10, left on Rt. 96, right on Bradley Rd. 7:15, left on Beath Rd., left on Country Club Rd. 7:25, to Rt. 27 and back to school.
