Tired of the political whining

    Dear Editor:

I thought once the election was over things would quiet down. I am not very political and until the last few years, didn’t pay much attention. Yes, I know the world is in kind of a mess and there are scary things going on, but I am tired of all the whining from Democrats and Republicans.

No one is to blame for Hillary losing the election but Hillary herself. She got lax because she thought she had it all sewn up and now is still whining about it six months later. It’s so bad, I can’t stand to turn on the news anymore. We have had good presidents and bad ones during my lifetime. We lived through Nixon and Watergate, Clinton and his scandals, and I even survived eight years of Obama, although it seemed as though everything went to pieces in 2009 and only got worse.

Yes, I voted for Trump because I didn’t like what Hillary had to say. For that I have been bullied, ridiculed and belittled for doing what every American is entitled to do — cast our own ballot for our chose candidate.

The better-than-you attitude of the movie stars, talk show hosts and Democrat politicians do nothing but encourage everyday people to act out like spoiled little children. Kathy Griffin’s vulgar display is an example of just that. She posed with that awful picture of the president, upset an 11-year-old boy, and then when that didn’t win her any points, she whined about how she was treated. Too bad, Kathy. You got what you deserved.

Everyone needs to pull up their big girl panties, grow up and move on. Trump is there for four years so deal with it. All this protesting does is make it more likely it might just be eight years.
