UPDATE: missing Alna man located, safe

    UPDATE: Lincoln County Communications confirmed Tuesday evening, Alna’s Timothy Jordan has been located and is safe.

    Original post: The Lincoln County Sheriff Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Alna man.  Timothy Jordan, 24, of Cross Road was last seen the evening of Sunday, Aug. 20, when some friends dropped him off in the parking lot of the Wiscasset Town Office.

    The next morning, Jordan sent a text to another friend, stating he was leaving his pickup truck and trailer in the parking lot of the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum, also on Cross Road in Alna. Friends found the truck and trailer at this location, then reported Jordan missing to the Sheriff’s Office. He has not been seen or heard from since.  

    Jordan is a white male, 5 feet, six inches in height, 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray pants and a gray hooded t-shirt.
