Update: McCausland announced in an email shortly after 6 p.m. Monday: The missing Litchfield woman was located this afternoon, driving her car in Southwest Harbor. The local police department found her and brought her to a hospital to be checked out.

Original post, a Silver Alert issued Monday morning: Police are looking for a missing Litchfield woman who failed to show up at a relative's home in Bangor Sunday. Jacka Beckwith, 77, is driving her red Subaru Legacy with Maine license plate 9186 UK.

Beckwith has memory issues and was spotted early this morning in Baileyville in Washington County asking for directions to Bangor. The convenience store's staff ​later learned police were looking for her​.

Anyone seeing Beckwith's car should call 911.
