‘What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor? A Celebration of the Human Form’

    “What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor? A Celebration of the Human Form” a show of paintings, paper work, photography and sculpture will be held at Studio 53, 53 Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor.  The show, co-sponsored by the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and Studio 53 Fine Art will run Friday, Feb. 10 through Sunday, Feb. 12. The Opening Reception will be held Friday, Feb. 10 from 5-8 p.m.

    Over 40 artists from the State of Maine and New England will exhibit their artistic interpretations of the beauty and shape of the human form. The Show will consist of a wide range of approaches representing the human body through realism, surrealism, impressionism, abstraction and technology.  Attendees are invited and encouraged to vote for their favorite piece through the “People’s Choice Award”.

    The Boathouse Bistro & Tapas Bar, The Carriage House Restaurant and The Thistle Inn will jump in on the fun by offering special menus to celebrate What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor? on Valentine’s Day weekend.  Please plan ahead as reservations are recommended.

    Eventide Epicurean Specialties will be offering all day special tastings, desserts and cakes, and from 3 p.m. on, wine and champagne tastings.

    For those who want to spend a romantic get-away weekend in the beautiful Boothbay Harbor Region, the Atlantic Ark Inn, the Harbor House Inn, the Russell House and the Thistle Inn will all be open and celebrating the weekend festivities.
