The students will relate some of the women’s monologues from Lee Master’s “Spoon River Anthology,” a  collection of post-mortem autobiographical “epitaphs,” of fictional residents in the fictional town of Spoon River, Illinois.

The monologues will be followed by a short skit, “The Phone Will Explode at the Tone,” a vignette play poking fun at the huge role the telephone plays in human lives.

The presentation will take about 30 minutes and is part of their performing arts class requirement, please join them for this event.

The high school is located at 236 Townsend Avenue/Route 27, in Boothbay Harbor.
