Southport Island held its third annual Fourth of July Parade and celebration under sunny skies. The parade featured many decorated vehicles, including the antique car carrying Grand Marshal Gerry Gamage, lawn and garden tractors, a baby carriage, fire engines and more. Over two dozen children participated and refreshments were donated and enjoyed outside the library.
