How to maintain a checking account, setting financial goals, and the basics of borrowing money!

Bath Savings Institution’s Boothbay Harbor Branch Manager, Vice President Linda Anderson and Damariscotta Assistant Branch Manager, Sarah Winchenbach will host a series of classes on the subject of “Money Smart for Young Adults.” 

The purpose of these classes are for young working adults, graduating High School seniors, and other young adults to have the skills to take control of their own finances. “Money Smart for Young Adults” is a program created by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Some topics that will be covered include: how to maintain a checking account, setting financial goals, and the basics of borrowing money. 

There will be a series of four (4) consecutive classes to attend. The four classes will be held on April 3, 10, 17 and 24th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Food and light refreshments will be served. To register, please call the Community Center at 633-9876.
