Alice Paul and women’s suffrage at Lincoln Home

Sat, 05/05/2018 - 7:00am

Jerry Wiles, local historian, will share stories of the life of American suffragist Alice Paul at The Lincoln Home. Paul co-founded the Congressional Union and then formed the National Woman’s party in 1916. She continued to provide inspiration to new generations of women’s rights activists until her death in 1977. Join us Thursday, May 17, from 2 to 3 p.m., in our living room.

The event is free. The Lincoln Home is located at 22 River Road, Newcastle. For more information, contact Rhonda Hanna, 563-3350, or rhonda@lincoln-home.org.
